CLASH

This series started while cycling to work in Amsterdam. Between the buildings I noticed rabbits, herons and, surprisingly, many trees. More than you might expect at first glance.

It made me wonder who this space really belongs to. To people, to animals, or to nature?

In these works, I explore the tension between those worlds. The structured and organised character of the city contrasts with the looser, more unpredictable nature of the natural world.
