ROOTS

With my camera and sketchbook, I visit places I know. Places that hold memories, places that move me, or places where it is simply good to be.

On location, I take photographs, make sketches and take the time to look. Back in my studio, I develop these impressions into small paintings on paper.

ROOTS is an ongoing exploration of places in my surroundings. Places where memories live and new ones are made, places I return to again and again.
